Theatr Clwyd Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces the full casting for Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac which also features new Welsh poetry from Twm Morys. The Old Globe just announced the complete cast and creative team of its production of Nick Payne's Broadway hit play CONSTELLATIONS, arriving April 9, directed by the Globe's own Richard Seer. The Bingham Camp Theatre Retreat (BCTR) will be presenting  a private industry reading of "Call It Courage" a new musical based in the novel by Armstrong Sperry. Book, Music & Lyrics by Adam Overett. Critically acclaimed vocalist Maxine Linehan announced today that she will release a single of U2's hit 'One' on Monday, March 14 on iTunes. All profits from the sale of the single will be donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in the spirit of giving that U2 laid out when they first released the benefit single to raise money for AIDS research.

On Sunday, March 13th at 4pm, Young Artists of America at Strathmore (YAA) presents the youth premiere of the new symphonic version of Children of Eden by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin and The Prince of Egypt). Schwartz himself will be working as a guest mentor with the YAA high school-aged students. The cast, full symphonic orchestra, and chorus will include over 350 youth from all over the DC Metro area including 250 younger artists from North Bethesda Middle School. The performance will take place at The Music Center at Strathmore (5301 Tuckerman Ln, North Bethesda, MD).

Theatre enthusiasts packed the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts tonight to hear Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley and Managing Director Phil Santora of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley unveil the line-up for the company's 47th season.
