The brilliant theatricality of Kneehigh, the innovative United Kingdom-based theater company, will be on display at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts once again when 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips has its Los Angeles premiere. Based on the beloved book by War Horse author Michael Morpurgo, 946 explores everything we thought we knew about the D-Day landings in this tender musical tale of love and war. Adapted by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, who also directs, 946 is a Kneehigh production presented in association with Birmingham Repertory and Berkeley Repertory Theatres. Performances begin February 9 with the opening on February 10.

Sheena Metal, an entertainment icon who has anchored numerous radio shows for over 20 years in Los Angeles and was named one of Talkers Magazine's Frontier Fifty (an exclusive selection of outstanding talk media webcasters) has founded I Am Raising the Vibration of the Nation (and the World), a new peace movement in response to the division and distress across the country since last November's presidential election. Along with a new radio program and blog, Metal will be inaugurating Facebook Live video posts and YouTube segments. There will also be a monthly event at the Filmmakers Gallery in Long Beach, CA. The radio program made its debut on Monday, January 9 and will air every Monday night from 7-9pm PT. The website is now live and the blog will follow later this month.

Fresh off of his critically acclaimed run as Patrick Ness in the new Off-Broadway production of 'YES' at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre, frequent New York concert staple and 2016 Thespis Award Nominee Tim Realbuto will return to Feinstein's/54 Below for the first time since 2014. In his all new show Tim Realbuto: Made of Glass, Realbuto and friends will sing the tunes of pop superstar Demi Lovato. But don't expect to hear your favorite typical arrangements. Realbuto, longtime musical director Julianne B. Merrill, and 'Ghostlight' collaborator Matthew Martin will arrange many of Ms. Lovato's greatest hits to sound more jazzy and Broadway in style (although many of Lovato's classics will remain the same).

Today, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC), under the direction of Dr. Timothy Seelig, Artistic Director and Chris Verdugo, Executive Director, announced plans for an outreach tour through major southern conservative areas of the United States in Summer 2018. The 2018 Outreach Tour will be the cap to the Chorus' monumental 40th Season (2017-2018).
