Playhouse Creatures Theatre Presents, David Alan Thornton's Rock Opera, Lady Monday, in concert at the Nuyorican Poet's Café. This event is a benefit for Playhouse Creatures inner city youth theatre program "Little Creatures Act Out".

David Alan Thornton is PCTC's 2016-2017 Playwright Fellow and he will presenting Lady Monday, a rock opera currently in development for a spring 2018 premier. Lady Monday tells the story of a small group of friends struggling for dignity in the hypocritical and often dangerous world of Stillwater, Indiana. Lady Monday received it's first Equity reading with Playhouse Creatures Theatre in August of 2016 under the direction of Scott Davis who has teamed up again with David and musical director Nick Wilders to bring you this exciting second incarnation.

The concert event Lady Monday, will benefit Playhouse Creatures Theatre's Youth theatre Program "Little Creatures Act Out" which, in partnership with Nazareth housing offers free theatre camps and workshops to New York City Kids.
