How 2 B A New Yorker - 2012 - Off-Broadway

HOW 2 B A NEW YORKER delivers a laugh-filled tour around the greatest city in the world with actors, comedians and licensed tour guides Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle as they play over 70 characters. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, this "Saturday Night Live" style comedy features a hilarious look at NYC's 400-year history. Immigrants, construction workers, muggers, Wall Street bankers, panhandlers, MTA workers, and Mayor Bloomberg all get a solid lampooning!

A full Italian dinner is served with each performance.

Now in its third smash year, Off-Broadway's hit comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, will play two special added holiday matinees this weekend at Planet Hollywood Times Square, 1540 Broadway (entrance on 45th Street just east of Broadway). The additional performances will be this Saturday 12/27 and Sunday 12/28 at 1:30 PM. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER is set to end its triumphant run Saturday evening, January 3rd.

Margaret Copeland will play her final performance in the long-running Off-Broadway comedy smash HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER this Saturday night, August 2nd at Planet Hollywood. She is set to be married three weeks later. As previously reported on Broadway World, Margaret's engagement to Colin Hunter, CEO of Alton Lane Custom Clothing, was announced on stage by her co-star Kevin James Doyle after the April 11th performance. Olivia Petzy will assume Margaret's role(s) on August 8th.
