HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER Ends Tonight at Sofia's Before Moving to Planet Hollywood

Off-Broadway's sellout comedy sensation How To Be a New Yorker will play its final two performances today at Sofia's Downstairs Theatre before reopening at The Screening Room Theater at Planet Hollywood Times Square on September 20th.

Written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, How To Be a New Yorker has been playing to packed houses Off-Broadway since August 22, 2012. How To Be a New Yorker delivers a laugh-filled tour around the greatest city in the world with actors, comedians and licensed tour guides Ms. Copeland and Mr. Doyle as they play over 70 characters. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, this "Saturday Night Live" style comedy features a hilarious look at NYC's 400-year history. Immigrants, construction workers, muggers, Wall Street bankers, panhandlers, MTA workers, and Mayor Bloomberg all get a solid lampooning!
