The Broadhurst Theatre box office opens tomorrow, Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM for LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, in the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. The Broadhurst Theatre is located at 235 West 44th Street. The production will play a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is Monday, April 1. Previews begin Friday, March 1.

According to The New York Times, comedian and impressionist Rich Little's 'Jimmy Stewart & Friends', currently running at LVH, the Last Vegas Hotel & Casino, is aiming for Broadway. At LVH, the production is billed as a 'pre-Broadway debut', and the Times reports Little is in talks with backers.

Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2013 Season, which opens on June 17 with Monty Python's Spamalot. The Guthrie Theater today announced complete casting for its production of Eugene O'Neill's semi-autobiographical masterwork Long Day's Journey into Night. For the first time in its 50-year history, the Guthrie will present this Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning family drama under the direction of Artistic Director Joe Dowling. The production will star actors Peter Michael Goetz and Helen Carey in the roles of James and Mary Tyrone. James is an aging actor and Mary is his rambling, morphine-addicted wife-both struggle to helm a dysfunctional family racked by addiction, despair and festering guilt.

A native San Antonion came to town this week. CAROL BURNETT, star of Broadway, television and film, returned to the Majestic Theatre where she has many fond memories. When she came onstage, it was like an old friend had come through the door for a visit. Carol's show was different than most shows. There wasn't any singing or dancing, but there was pure entertainment.

BASE Entertainment has just announced that DINER, a new musical based on the critically acclaimed 1982 film with a book by Academy Award winner and original DINER screenwriter Barry Levinson and music & lyrics by 9-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, will have its pre-Broadway world premiere at San Francisco's SHN Curran Theatre (445 Geary Street). Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, DINER will play a strictly limited four week engagement from Tuesday, October 23, 2012, through Sunday, November 18, 2012, with an opening night of Friday, November 2, 2012. Due to these confirmed San Francisco dates DINER will now bow on Broadway in the spring of 2013, instead of the fall of 2012 as previously announced. Design team and casting will be announced at a later date.
