StoPD and Shetler Studios present Golden Boy, written by Clifford Odets and directed by Aaron Latham. Staged at Gleason's Gym, the world famous boxing mecca that contributed to inspiring Odets back in 1937, this full scale production will be the first time Golden Boy will be presented in a site-specific setting with original equipment and ring from 1940s-50s.

The awards ceremony, celebrating its 20th anniversary as the official launch of the awards season, will be hosted by actor and comedian James Corden, and will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, on November 6, 2016.

The Radicalization of Rolfe, winner of 2016 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award, re-opens as part of the Fringe Encore Series 2016 at The Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street, New York City on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Written by Andrew Bergh and directed by Abigail Zealey Bess, The Radicalization of Rolfe is inspired by the backstory of the lesser-known but vital secondary characters in the legendary musical The Sound of Music. "A tone perfect production," the New York Times declares it is "a play that was just as much fun as - and cleverer than - it promised to be."

The new Stan Zimmerman & Christian McLaughlin play, Knife to the Heart, a comedy about circumcision, will hold a private reading on October 16, 2016, at Los Angeles's Lex Theatre. The cast for the reading will include Wendie Malick (Hot in Cleveland), Todd Sherry (Parks & Recreation), Katie Walder (How I Met Your Mother), and Josh Zuckerman (Desperate Housewives). Michael Matthews will direct.

Fox Foundation and stoPD (Support and Training to Overcome Parkinson's Disease). This revival of Odets' masterpiece will be directed by Aaron Latham, author of the films Urban Cowboy, The Program and the Broadway musical Urban Cowboy.  Mr. Latham has been living with Parkinson's disease for several years.  At age 72, this production is his theatrical directorial debut. This unique production will also feature professional actors who are living with Parkinson's in some of the main roles. A tribute to the Parkinson's community and a testament to its strength and potential.

La Jolla Playhouse announces the latest presentation in its acclaimed Without Walls (WoW) series: The Bitter Game, a reprise of the acclaimed 2015 WoW Festival theatre piece, created, written and performed by UC San Diego M.F.A. graduate Keith A. Wallace, co-created and directed by UC San Diego Theatre & Dance faculty member Deborah Stein.

Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced the appointment of six new members, Kelsey Hellebuyck, Emily Mistretta, Gustavo Ribeiro, Amaya Rodriguez, James Rogers, Kevin Wilson, and three new apprentices, Ivan Braatz, Sarah Joan Smith, and Katherine Sawicki to the Kansas City Ballet Company.
