The GRAMMY Museum has announced its plans to expand the forthcoming exhibit celebrating the 40th anniversary of seminal L.A. punk rock band X.

The recipient of the 2017 Silver Ticket Award is highly regarded arts manager, community activist and activator Jane Marsland. Choreographer Trisha Brown has died on March 18th in San Antonio, Texas, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her son, Adam Brown, his wife Erin, her four grandchildren – and by her brother Gordon Brown and sister Louisa Brown. Trisha Brown's husband, artist Burt Barr, died on November 7, 2016.

The 16th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its lineup of 57 thought-provoking and diverse short films in competition, including 36 world premieres. The selected shorts, 40% of which were directed by women, and include filmmakers from every corner of the globe, were curated from a record 4,385 submissions. They will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs, consisting of five narrative, four documentary, and, for the second year, one animated program. In addition, there is the Sports Shorts program as part of the 11th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, sponsored by Mohegan Sun. The Shorts program, sponsored by Nutella Originals, is a part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 19-30.

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is proud to present a partnership with Kickstarter for the 6th edition of NADA New York, which will take place March 2-5 at Skylight Clarkson North (572 Washington St). Kickstarter will serve as the lead partner for NADA Presents, an interdisciplinary program of performances and conversations from exhibitors, artists, and cultural partners. This will be the program's third year.
