The GRAMMY AWARDS Premiere Ceremony took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. PT. Preceding the 62nd Annual GRAMMY AWARDS telecast, the Premiere Ceremony was hosted by two-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Imogen Heap and featured a number of performances by current GRAMMY nominees. Performers included classical violinist Nicola Benedetti, jazz legend Chick Corea, folk music supergroup I'm With Her, West African sensation Angélique Kidjo and Best New Artist nominee Yola.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic's Weimar Republic: Germany 1918-1933, through two wide-ranging and dramatic programs led by Conductor Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen, explores the musical culture of Germany's politically charged Weimar era. These concerts are given context by Weimar Variations, a collection of ancillary events curated by Stephanie Barron and Nana Bahlmann.

The Actors Fund, the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, will hold its Annual Gala on Monday, April 6, 2020. The evening will celebrate Tony Award-winning actor Matthew Broderick and Emmy Award-winning actor, producer and designer Sarah Jessica Parker; Tony Award-winning actor and Chairman of The Actors Fund Brian Stokes Mitchell; Academy Award-winning producer, co-owner of the New York Football Giants, and philanthropist Steve Tisch; and American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) President Richard L. The Actors' Gang announced today that the stage adaptation of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dalton Trumbo's war novel, Johnny Got His Gun, written by Bradley Rand Smith and directed by Tim Robbins, will kick off The Actors' Gang 2018/19 Season from Saturday, October 6th to Saturday, November 10th, 2018. The press opening is Saturday, October 13.

Jennifer Jewell presents 'Raison d'etre: an Evening of Pirandello,' adapted from selected works by Nobel Prize Laureate for Literature and Italian dramatist, novelist, poet, and writer Luigi Pirandello. 'Raison d'etre: an Evening of Pirandello,' explores the complexity and depth of Pirandello's work by taking his seminal play, 'Six Characters in Search of an Author' and infusing it with characters and themes from two of his notable one-act plays, 'Chee Chee' and 'The Man with the Flower In His Mouth.'

Joining the all-star line-up for the 38th annual edition of PBS' A CAPITOL FOURTH, the country's longest-running live national July 4 TV tradition, are theatrical icon and triple-threat Broadway legend Chita Rivera, multi-platinum pop singer and songwriter Andy Grammer, and THE VOICE Season 14 finalist Kyla Jade.  Grammer will perform his hit "Back Home," the lead single from his Gold-certified album Magazines or Novels, on America's national Independence Day celebration.  Gospel singer Jade will open the show with a performance of the "National Anthem."

South African Choral Festival features a true diversity of international choirs performing for effusive audiences in every venue imaginable, making for what the Cape Times calls "singing that nourishes the body and soul." Over the past decade, Ihlombe! has featured nearly 90 choirs from some 10 countries throughout the entirety of South Africa.
