Ground UP Productions in association with Gideon Productions will present the New York Premiere of Mac Rogers' Asymmetric at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street between Park and Madison Avenue) tonight, November 14-December 6.

The Broadway @ series originated at its now-famous home in Provincetown, MA in the summer of 2011. Since that time the series, hosted by SiriusXM radio star and pianist Seth Rudetsky and produced by Mark Cortale, has attracted Broadway's biggest stars, such as Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Sutton Foster, Megan Hilty, Cheyenne Jackson, Chita Rivera, and many other marquee names. The series has also now leapt to ongoing seasons in New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, the Poconos, Woodstock, NY, Hartford, Detroit, as well as Sydney, Australia and London's West End.

This December, Marin Theatre Company continues its 48th Season with a presentation of Reduced Shakespeare Company performing their The Complete History of Comedy (abridged), starring writer/directors Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, with Dominic Conti. The "Bad Boys of Abridgement" will leave no joke untold as they deconstruct the entire history of comedy in a dizzying night's entertainment.

Opening tomorrow -- Musical Theatre West (MTW) opens its 2014-2015 season, reeling in the West Coast premiere of the critically acclaimed Broadway musical Big Fish, a new musical, October 31 through November 16.

'They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky!' The Broadway musical sensation The Addams Family is on stage at the Ogunquit Playhouse today, October 1 through 26.

59E59 Theaters will host the New York premiere of ASYMMETRIC, written by Mac Rogers and directed by Jordana Williams. Produced by Ground UP Productions in association with Gideon Productions, ASYMMETRIC begins performances on Friday, November 14 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 6. Press opening is Wednesday, November 19 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30PM; Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Please note: there is an added performance on Saturday, November 29 at 2:30 PM and there is no performance on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving). Jonas Sills and Ray Buffer have created a new performing arts company in Long Beach called Art-In-Relation (AIR). Art-In-Relation's first production, 'Frankenstein The Musical' will open October 23 at the Ernest Borgnine Theatre inside the Scottish Rite Event Center in Long Beach. The two producers also appear in this powerful production, as Victor Frankenstein and The Creature, respectively.

Good Enough comes to NYC's Theatre Row for three performances this fall: September 22, October 5, and October 7. Written and performed by Broadway actor Matthew LaBanca, and directed by Kira Simring, Good Enough is a current Bestseller in the United Solo Theatre Festival.

The Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to Lenox, Massachusetts, for the second consecutive summer, with 12 performances of the fully staged theatrical concert, Beethoven Love Elegies. With a script drawn from Beethoven's letters and diaries and accounts by his contemporaries, interwoven with performances of some of his greatest music, this poignant, humorous, and emotionally intense production dramatizes Beethoven's young years in Vienna and his search for the perfect wife. On a November Saturday afternoon in 2007, I anxiously entered the Hilton Theatre in New York. I love exaggerated, well-conceived and performed farce. I was going to see 'Young Frankenstein' by the king of farce and parody, Mel Brooks. Yes, 'Young Frankenstein,' officially known as 'The New Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein,' was the Broadway follow-up to 'The Producers,' by the comedy madman and his writing sidekick, Thomas Meehan.
