On June 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., Award-winning actresses Linda Lavin and Nilaja Sun will join The Fortune Society as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of "The Castle"- a West Harlem supportive housing program that, over the last decade, has provided critical services and support to more than 1,000 formerly homeless men and women who served time in prison. Also attending the event will be former Governor of New Jersey James McGreevey.

The Castle, a unique theatrical event that presents a searing, first-hand look at the lives of four formerly incarcerated New Yorkers and their re-entry into society, will transfer to Off-Broadway after an extended run at its namesake venue, it was announced by producers Eric Krebs and Chase Mishkin. This unique theater piece is conceived and directed by David Rothenberg and written in collaboration with Vilma Ortiz Donovan, Kenneth Harrington, Angel Ramos and Casimiro Torres. Performances begin Sunday, March 30th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) with an opening night set for Sunday, April 27th at 5 p.m.
