Long Wharf Theatre, in association with Hartford Stage, presents The Underpants by Steve Martin, adapted from the play by Carl Sternheim, directed by Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein. The play will take place now through November 10, 2013 at The Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Theatre before moving to Hartford Stage January 9 through February 9, 2014. Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd just announced that the Alley Theatre will produce the premiere of Theresa Rebeck's new play Foolduring the 2013-2014 Season, February 21 through March 16, 2014, opening February 26. This production replaces Never The Sinner which will be postponed to a future season.

Larenz Tate (Rescue Me) and Nia Long (Third Watch) have signed on as recurring season two guest stars in the hit SHOWTIME® comedy series, HOUSE OF LIES. Tate will play Marty's (series star and executive producer Don Cheadle in his Emmy®-Award nominated role) younger, less-ambitious, activist brother, while Long stars as a fellow consultant and former classmate of Marty's who proves to be a formidable foe. The casting marks a reunion of sorts for the pair who earned acclaim for their work as gun-shy lovers in the popular 1997 film Love Jones. The second season of HOUSE OF LIES begins shooting in Los Angeles in November for a Sunday, January 13th at 10 p.m. ET/PT debut.
