Since he launched his much-anticipated national concert tour October 10 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, JOHN FOGERTY's North American tour has been steamrolling across the country playing to full houses and earning vast critical acclaim. Throughout the tour, the iconic singer, songwriter and guitarist is performing his classic Creedence Clearwater Revival albums Cosmos Factory and Bayou Country for the first time ever in the U.S., along with other FOGERTY/CCR gems including the two new songs ("Mystic Highway," "Train of Fools") from his current album WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE, which received Rolling Stone magazine's highest rating--a rare 5 stars.

The tour is set to close out on a high note tonight with the first of three shows (November 12, 13 and 14) at New York City's Beacon Theatre. For the final Beacon show and last night of the tour this Thursday (November 14), FOGERTY will perform both Cosmo's Factory AND Bayou Country in their entirety In response to the overwhelming feedback from fans.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award winner has been making music that continues to speak in a powerful way to generations of music makers and music lovers, and his fall tour is a joyous celebration of his iconic songbook of hits.

FOGERTY's live shows have been hailed by the media from coast to coast:

"...[the] singer-songwriter and guitar hero delivered yet another knockout. For 140 wonderful minutes, he proved to be a master at mixing up Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, Centerfield-era solo hits and newer material that confirmed his writing talents remain as potent as the licks he unleashed on any number of electric and acoustic guitars he used during his 31-song set. Indeed, at this kickoff of a fall tour that will take him throughout the United States over the next month or so, Fogerty proved again that he is one of rock's golden-age icons who is still able to fully deliver."

-- Robert Kinsler, ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, (Los Angeles) 10/11/13

"The first part of the set, Fogerty and company played the bulk of the second CCR album, 1969's Bayou Country...'Born on the Bayou' and 'Penthouse Pauper' were among the best performances of the evening, with well-timed, well-played solos and Fogerty's voice as good as ever.'

--Mike Long, DENVER POST, 10/16/13

"The Rock Hall of Famer proved impressively energetic...playing fiery lead guitar and belting out everything in his sharp, soulful tenor that remains unmistakable and remarkably unchanged."

--Thomas Conner, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 10/17/13

"In amongst the hit parade was a newly written song called 'Mystic Highway', which explores his advancing stages of life. It's one of the better songs he's ever crafted, which is saying something in his case, and it's enough to hope that Fogerty gets around to making at least one more album of all-new material at some point."

-- BEATWEEK.COM (California, PA), 11/6/13

"Fogerty...opened with a raucous 'Travelin' Band' and his energy never wavered as he alternated between four guitars and showed why CCR was masterful at crafting three-minute hits while other bands wallowed in excess toward the end of the 1960s. On a few occasions, Fogerty stretched out for some lengthy guitar solos, but the hits kept coming as he played the entire Cosmo's Factory album, which reached No. 1 in the summer of 1970. Two decades after CCR was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Fogerty looked like a man singing their anthems for the first time...As an angry 'Fortunate Son' gave way to a bouncy 'Proud Mary,' Fogerty struck the pose of a man at peace with himself, guitar in hand and his joy reflected back each time he looked into the eyes of his devoted fans."

--Ira Kaufman, TAMPA TRIBUNE (Tampa, FL), 10/27/13

"During a two-hour-plus show that included the many classics Fogerty wrote and recorded with Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as solo smashes and choice covers from the golden era of rock 'n' roll, Fogerty grabbed the audience and obliterated the notion of a mere nostalgia show. His verve was infectious...Fogerty performed with a grin of genuine jubilation that rarely left his face. He even jumped in place and ran across the stage; but never like a showman, just a man excited to be sharing space with a couple thousand others with similar convictions about the power of rock 'n' roll...A fog machine enhanced the wartime horror of 'Run Through the Jungle' and then Fogerty lightened the mood; describing his love for rock 'n' roll's pioneers before performing Bo Diddley's 'Before You Accuse Me' and then the early Elvis Presley hit 'My Baby Left Me...' Eschewing any of the darker, angry young man songs he wrote for CCR--songs like 'Effigy,' '(Wish I Could) Hideaway' and 'Someday Never Comes'--Fogerty kicked off the remainder of the show with his 1985 baseball anthem 'Centerfield' and kept the ebullient, triumphant feel constant the rest of the evening. He delivered a winning selection of CCR and solo songs, including the two new ones off his latest album Wrote a Song for Everyone. By the time the encore concluded with a joyous sing along of 'Proud Mary,' the man with the guitars and growl of a voice had proved rock 'n' roll will never die; at least not as long as people like Fogerty are around."

-- Wade Tatangelo, SARASOTA HERALD-TRIBUNE (Sarasota, FL), 10/28/13

"...Fogerty and guitarist son Shane coaxed each other through the depths of "Lodi" or an even more elongated version of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" than the one that appears on Cosmo's Factory."

-- Chris Gray, HOUSTONPRESS.COM, 10/21/13

"'Keep on chooglin',' John Fogerty sang toward the end of his two-hour-plus concert...as he steamrolled through one hit after a another--29 songs in all...the flannel-clad Fogerty still rocks hard, and his voice was as powerful as ever...his greatest gift, however, is as a riff-meister, and when his guitar churned out the trademark riffs of 'Born On The Bayou,' 'Green River,' show-closer 'Fortunate Son' or the encore of 'Bad Moon Rising,' roared back their instant recognition. And that's the mark of a great songwriter."

--Greg Haymes, ALBANY TIMES UNION (Albany,NY), 11/11/13

"He worked every song hard...He reached back to his roots in blues, R&B, rockabilly and swamp pop...he made his own songs stand just as tall and rock just as deep."

--Michael Hochanadel, DAILY GAZETTE (Schenectady, NY), 11/11/13

"As John Fogerty and his band keep rollin' across the country, fans should definitely seek them out. If the Nokia was any indication, they deliver a great evening of rock music..."

-- Gordon S. Miller, BLOGCRITICS.ORG, 10/18/13

"Fogerty played a two hour set packed with songs he'd written--songs as iconic over the last half-century, as by any other songwriter you could name....The two song encore...sent everyone home happy. And hearing those songs played live, performed by Fogerty, how could you not be?"

-- Mike Long, DENVER POST (HEYREVERB.COM), 10/16/13
