The Shakespeare Theatre Company welcomes Oscar-nominated actor John Hurt to the company's stage in Samuel Beckett's one-man show, Krapp's Last Tape.

Discovering the points at which African and American music strike sparks off each other, Pee Wee Ellis along with Maceo Parker, Vusi Mahlasela and Cheikh Lo bring James Brown's revolutionary music full circle in Still Black, Still Proud: an innovative, rhythm-fueled and Afro-funk tribute. Still Black, Still Proud plays the Ordway's Music Theater for one night only on Tuesday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. as a part of the Ordway's 2011-2012 Target World Music and Dance Series.

The Knitting Factory was founded in 1987 and over the years has grown into Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE). Though primarily known for their venues-both clubs and concert houses located in Brooklyn, Boise, Spokane and Reno-KFE also promotes national tours, produces the hit Broadway musical Fela!, operates The Federal Bar Gastro Pub in North Hollywood and is a partner with record labels Partisan and Knitting Factory Records. Another venture, High Adventure Management handles the careers of emerging and critically acclaimed recording artists both in the U.S. and overseas. It is the West Coast artist management wing of KFE.

The Guthrie Theater today announced three NT Live screening dates for the 2011-12 season: the smash-hit London production One Man, Two Guvnors (October 2), an English version of Carlo Goldoni's classic Italian comedy; Arnold Wesker's fast and furious examination of life in The Kitchen (November 6); and Collaborators (January 9), John Hodge's blistering new play depicting a lethal game of cat and mouse in 1938 Moscow.
