The Greenwich Theatre announces its Autumn 2016 season! Beginning with the How Small How Far Production of Garden, the company will present and produce two dozen productions in the coming autumn months. Details for each production are below. ?Robert Browning, called “the entrepreneur who almost single-handedly created and filled New Yorkers' passion for world music” in the New York Times, begins a new season with traditional and cross-cultural music from various countries around the world, including India, Iran, Mali, Spain, Armenia, Turkey, Ireland, Haiti, and the US.

Ten years ago, the National Theatre of Scotland launched with Home, a project inviting ten communities from across Scotland to express what Home meant to them, to reflect on their place in the world.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) announces the fall 2016 performance and residency series, which runs September 27 through December 16. BAC Presents will bring to BAC's stages World and U.S. Premieres of works by international music and dance artists. Tickets go on sale August 15 and can be purchased online at bacnyc.org or by phone at 866 811 4111. Throughout the season,BAC Residencies will provide critical support to nine artists across disciplines to develop new work in BAC's studios.

Subscriptions are on sale now for the upcoming 20th Season of the Seattle National Geographic Live Speaker Series presented by the Seattle Symphony. Demand for the series has grown each year; and all presentations for all six lectures in the 2016-2017 season will be in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium. The Old Globe and the San Diego Public Library were selected last year to co-host the only stop in California for FIRST FOLIO! THE BOOK THAT GAVE US SHAKESPEARE, on tour from the Folger Shakespeare Library, a national traveling exhibition organized by the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

Anaheim's official resident theater company, Chance Theater is pleased to present a fresh and intimate production of the Broadway musical classic ... A Chorus Line. Book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, directed by Chance's Artistic Director Oanh Nguyen, choreographed by Hazel Clarke, with music direction by Ryan O'Connell. A Chorus Line will preview from July 1 through July 8, regular performances will begin July 9 and continue through July 31 on the Cripe Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

For its 2016-17 season, the 33-year-old Raven Theatre Company will again bring new plays and playwrights to Chicago audiences along with revivals of classic and lesser-known works by masters of modern drama. The award-winning Vital Theatre Company has just announced that PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL with book by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, music and lyrics by John Gregor and directed by Teresa K. Pond will extend and return to the Theater at Blessed Sacrament, beginning Sunday, March 13th at 11:00 am.

Rifco Artistic Director Pravesh Kumar today announces the full cast for the world premiere of Laila: The Musical. Kumar directs Reece Bahia, Ravin J Ganatra, Mona Goodwin, Kush Khanna, Sami Lamine, Sheena Patel, Vedi Roy, Shin and Yinka Williams in the production which opens at Watford Palace Theatre on 7 April. Laila then tours to The New Wolsey Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Warwick Arts Centre, Queen's Theatre Hornchurch, Theatre Royal Windsor and The Lowry.

To honor Arvo Part, one of the world's most remarkable and frequently performed composers alive today, the New York Choral Society, the Mannes School of Music at the New School, and the Arvo Part Project have designated Sunday, January 24, 2016 as Arvo Part Day.
