Strawdog Theatre Company is proud to announce the third and final production in its 2016 - 2017 season, Rebecca Lenkiewicz's The Night Season, May 12  - June 24, directed by Elly Green, at The Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard. The performance schedule is Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. Previews are May 12 - 13, 18 - 19 at 8 p.m., May 14 and 21 at 4 p.m. The press opening is Monday, May 22 at 8 p.m. with a Board Night Saturday, May 20 at 8 p.m. with an open bar and appetizers. All performances have ground level access and are wheelchair accessible, with a special Access Project performance Sunday, June 4 at 4 p.m. with a touch tour at 2:45 p.m.* An industry performance is on Monday, June 5 at 8 p.m for $18. The 30 collective tracks contained on Recently (originally released July 1987), Diamonds and Rust in the Bullring (recorded live in Bilbao, Spain, 1988, released April 1989) and Speaking of Dreams (November 1989) hold their own as some of the greatest song selection sequences of Joan's entire discography.

Can a hairless, little squirrel change the human heart? After getting sucked up by a Ulysses 2000x vacuum cleaner, a squirrel is rescued by Flora Belle Buckman, a 10-year-old self-proclaimed cynic. She names him Ulysses and discovers he has been reborn a superhero. Indeed, this once average squirrel can suddenly understand Flora, fly, and even write poetry. Together they embark on an adventure full of quirky characters and bursting with heart.

On Saturday, May 6th, McCarter Theatre Center will host its 40th annual Gala Benefit, which supports McCarter's many ongoing artistic and educational missions here in Princeton and around the region. This year's gala, A Night in Old Havana, will be an evening of American jazz, Old Havana flare, fine food, live and silent auctions, and dancing.
