 The Music Center announced it will present two star-studded concerts, JONI 75: A Birthday Celebration Live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on November 6 and November 7, 2018, featuring an incredible array of singers and musicians who will honor one of the world's most remarkable artists, Joni Mitchell, on her 75th birthday.  On both nights, Glen Hansard, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Chaka Khan, Diana Krall, Kris Kristofferson, Los Lobos, Graham Nash, Seal, and Rufus Wainwright, will perform songs from all stages of Mitchell's life and career, across the entire oeuvre of her 19 studio albums.  Co-musical directors, providing the musical arrangements for the evenings, are drummer Brian Blade, who recorded three studio albums and toured extensively with Mitchell, and, pianist, composer, arranger producer Jon Cowherd. 

CMA Fest has announced more than 100 additional performances throughout Downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10. Xfinity Fan Fair X is back and more exciting than ever featuring three stages packed with artist performances, panels and meet and greets, in addition to music and lifestyle exhibits, prize giveaways and the Marketplace taking place daily from 9:30 AM-5:00 PM inside Music City Center. The HGTV Lodge returns for a seventh year, hosting performances with Country Music favorites and appearances from HGTV stars. Newly added to the Nissan Stadium stage, Jake Owen will perform on Friday night and Cole Swindell will perform on Sunday night.

Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera that tells the story of the final week in the life of Jesus Christ. It begins with the preparation for the arrival of Jesus and his disciples in Jerusalem and ends with the crucifixion. It also highlights the political and interpersonal struggles between Jesus and one of his 12 apostles, Judas Iscariot that are not present in the Bible narratives.

The Country Music Association reveals the initial artist lineup for this year's CMA Fest, featuring an exceptional bill of hundreds of artists performing on 11 stages throughout downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10. 

Taking the nightly NISSAN STADIUM stage this year are Country Music superstars Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Charles Esten and Friends, Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Charley Pride, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Ricky Skaggs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lee Ann Womack, and Brett Young. Several acts join this year's Nissan Stadium lineup for the first time with full sets and special performances including Brown, Combs, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Pardi, Pearce and Young. In addition, Lauren Alaina and Bebe Rexha will make guest appearances. Stadium gates open daily at 6:00 PM with performances starting at 8:00 PM. A limited number of four-day tickets for the nightly performances at Nissan Stadium are still available at CMAfest.com/tickets or through the CMA Box Office at 1-800-CMA-FEST. 

Following a two-part special presented by HBO, a six-episode version of Rolling Stone: Stories From The Edge will be available first on iTunes in North America and the UK beginning Monday, March 12. The full season on iTunes is $14.99, and episodes are $2.99 each. The series will launch on other major VOD platforms, including Amazon, Vudu, Googleplay and Xbox on Tuesday, March 27th, courtesy of Kew Media.

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, today announced the principal casting for Rudolf Nureyev's landmark production of The Sleeping Beauty. 92Y's 17-18 season opens on October 5 with internationally renowned cellist Mischa Maisky joining the “amazing precision” (Huffington Post) of the notably conductorless Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, which returns to 92Y for the first time in 15 years, to celebrate the cellist's 70th birthday season. Together, they open 92Y's illustrious concert season with Schubert's beloved “Arpeggione” Sonata, arranged for cello and string orchestra by Dobrinka Tabakova, as well as Arensky's Variations on a Theme by Tchaikovsky, and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings.  Acclaimed for the sheer intensity and vigor of his performances, Maisky has the distinct honor of being the only cellist in the world to have studied under both Gregor Piatigorsky and Mlatislav Rostrapovich.  The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra is renowned as one of the foremost chamber orchestras in the world, with more than 70 albums in its sprawling discography since its founding in 1972.

HBO Documentary Films has set a debut date for ROLLING STONE: STORIES FROM THE EDGE, which will air over two nights MONDAY, NOV. 6 and TUESDAY, NOV. 7

A musician's musician, master of the guitar, the mandolin, the fiddle and several other stringed instruments, David Bromberg is a one-of-a-kind figure in popular music. He will celebrate his 72nd birthday and his new blues-rooted CD with a special performance at The Town Hall in New York City on Saturday, September 23 featuring the David Bromberg Big Band and special guest R&B singer Bettye LaVette.
