This February, Joe's Pub at The Public presents a slate of shows to romance and titillate in honor of Valentine's Day. From today, February 10, through February 14 , every night will feature at least one show celebrating love and lust, including alt-pop singer Rachael Sage, cabaret goddess Bridget Everett, a night of Michael Jackson and Prince love songs led by Toshi Reagon, fiery soul star XAVIER and friends, the tantalizing Brown Girls Burlesque and the V-day edition of Never Sleep Alone. Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, returns to Crossroads Theatre, New Brunswick for its third consecutive appearance on Sunday, March 29 at 3:00 pm. Continuing to showcase the company's expanded repertory that explores the range of the male dancer, the performance will be followed by a Panel Discussion on the stage with Artistic Director Randy James, New Jersey choreographer Cleo Mack and Company Member Kyle Marshall. Tickets are $25 for Premium Seating Center Section and $22.50 for Seniors, $20 Adult Side Seating and $15 for students and children.

New and celebrated American choreographers take center stage as Parsons Dance performs three New York City premieres by acclaimed American choreographers Robert Battle, Trey McIntyre and David Parsons, along with a world premiere from GenerationNOW fellow Natalie Lomonte. Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent.

For DIRECTOR'S CHOICE, the second program of Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2014-2015season, Artistic Director Peter Boal selects two PNB premieres paired with stunning repertory works in this absorbing mixed-bill. Opening the program, David Dawson's breath-taking, hyper-extended A Million Kisses to my Skin references the intoxicating bliss dancers experience while performing. Rassemblement, Nacho Duato's poignant work set to slave songs by Haitian artist Toto Bissainthe, voices communal yearning and resistance in a climate of oppression. Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's (Cylindrical Shadows) critically-acclaimed signature piece, Before After, a PNB premiere, unmasks the turmoil just before a relationship ends. The performance closes with Debonair, a world premiere by New York City Ballet's rising star Justin Peck, praised for 'electrifying classical dance with [his] fresh vision' (Wall Street Journal). The program also includes a musical prelude to shine the spotlight on the nationally renowned PNB Orchestra, currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary season. DIRECTOR'S CHOICE runs for seven performances only, November 7-16, 2014 at Seattle Center's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. New York Live Arts today announced the seven artists selected for the 2014-15 Fresh Tracks Performance and Residency Program. The 2014-15 Fresh Tracks artists are Same As Sister (S.A.S.)/Briana Brown-Tipley and Hilary Brown, Nico Brown, He Jin Jang, Niall Jones, Julie Mayo and Lindsay Reuter.
