SNL's Ana Gasteyer Joins Seattle Men's Chorus in BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE, 11/30-12/22

Seattle Men's Chorus (SMC) is heading to south-of-the-border and other tropical locales this holiday season with Baby, It's Cold Outside. With their unique blend of song, dance and campy comedy, Seattle Men's Chorus has carved its niche as Seattle's OTHER holiday tradition. This year they will add some heat to traditional holiday tunes in eight sizzling Seattle concerts, plus two out-of-town concerts in Tacoma and Everett. For the first two performances of their 33rd season opener, SMC welcomes stage and TV star Ana Gasteyer (Nov.30 & Dec. 1 only) as the guest artist.

Few people know the real story of football's most legendary coach, Vince Lombardi. Through his inspirations and passions, he had an ability to drive people to achieve more than they ever thought possible. Arizona Theatre Company's "Lombardi" centers on the iconic Green Bay Packers coach during a pivotal week in 1965. This Southwest premiere production of the Broadway hit plays at the Temple of Music and Art and runs from October 20 - November 10, 2012. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from November 15 - December 2, 2012. "Lombardi" is supported by Opening Night Sponsor, Kate Garner. Arizona Theatre Company Season Sponsors are I. Michael and Beth Kasser.

Orion Ensemble Opens 20th Season with ORION BEGINNINGS Tonight, 10/10

To open its 20th Anniversary Season, The Orion Ensemble, Chicago's nationally recognized and critically acclaimed chamber music ensemble, presents "Orion Beginnings," featuring a trio and a quartet the ensemble performed during its early seasons, along with a quintet commissioned for its 10th anniversary. Performances take place tonight, October 10 at Roosevelt University's Ganz Memorial Hall in Chicago, October 14 at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church in Geneva and October 21 at Music Institute of Chicago's Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston. Stephen Boe joins Orion as violist for this program.

Alice Ripley to Star in CIVIL WAR CHRISTMAS at New York Theatre Workshop, 11/13-12/30

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that tickets are on sale for A Civil War Christmas, written by Paula Vogel and directed by Tina Landau. Performances of this holiday-themed work begin Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 7pm at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4 at 7pm. A Civil War Christmas is scheduled to run through Sunday, December 30.

Tami Stronach Returns to Dance New Amsterdam with ME AND NOT ME World Premiere, Now thru 9/22

Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) welcomes back Tami Stronach Dance to the 2012-2013 DNA PRESENTS season to present the world premiere of Me and Not Me, a duet which first debuted as a work in progress during DNA PRESENTS' OBject.obJECT series in 2009. The program also includes repertory favorite Mother Tongue, a solo danced by Stronach, and Closer, a piece currently in the making, which uses video cameras strapped to the dancers' bodies to provide the audience with alternative viewpoints. Performances are tonight, September 19-22. All shows are at 7:30 p.m.
