The Off Broadway hit DADDY ISSUES, written and directed by David Goldyn, makes its South Florida debut at the Willow Theatre in Boca Raton (300 S. Military Trail) and runs from March 1 through 10. Tonight Center Theatre Group opens Steppenwolf Theatre Company's production of Linda Vista written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning ensemble member Tracy Letts, directed by Dexter Bullard, who also directed the world premiere at Steppenwolf. The production features Steppenwolf ensemble members Ian Barford, Tim Hopper, Sally Murphy and Caroline Neff with Chantal Thuy, Cora Vander Broek and Troy West.

Building on 40 years of producing powerful contemporary theatre, Studio Theatre is pleased to announce a new class of commissioned playwrights and directors to Studio R&D, its incubator to support the creation of new work from inception to first production. Incoming Studio R&D artists are playwrights James Fritz, James Ijames, Steph Del Rosso, and Emily Schwend, as well as directors Carl Cofield, Lila Neugebauer, and Eric Ruffin. These exciting talents from the US and UK will have Studio's full support in creating aesthetically diverse new work to be presented in future seasons and introduced into the international repertoire. As they create Studio-specific works, commissioned artists will visit Studio to get to know its theatres, programming, and audiences in person.

The McCallum Theatre welcomes the return of Lily Tomlin and "An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin" on Saturday, January 12, at 8:00pm. Lily Tomlin has been delighting audiences since the first time she muttered "one ringy-dingy" on Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In." In this hilarious one-woman show, Lily performs more than a dozen of her timeless characters, from Ernestine to Mrs. Beasley to Edith Ann. The Grammy, Tony, and Emmy winner uses a fantastic range of voices, gestures, and movements to conjure up a cast of characters "with all the apparent ease of a magician pulling a whole menagerie of animals from a single hat" (New York Daily News). Andrea Wolff's I Can't Trace Time, a passionate and whimsical musical memoir, will play one more show in December, moving to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on 12/10 at 6pm. With a signature mixture of pop and Broadway and an ensemble led by Music Director Jude Obermuller, I Can't Trace Time features a master entertainer who has been widely lauded for her strong comic timing, offbeat and compelling characterizations and superb taste in music. Special Guest Artist, guitarist Sean Harkness will appear. The show is directed by 2018 MAC and Bistro Award winning writer-actor, Dan Ruth.
