The star-studded studio cast recording of LIKE YOU LIKE IT is out digitally and in stores today, September 23, 2016, via Broadway Records.

The 13th Annual Providence Improv FEST, will be taking place at AS220 Black Box at 95 Empire St. and AS220 Main Stage at 115 Empire St., in downtown Providence on September 22-24, 2016. 

It was a full house on Sunday, September 18, for the opening night of Pump Boys and Dinettes at Theatre at the Center in Munster. The audience was treated to a little slice of Americana with this upbeat roadside musical. Scroll down for photos from the opening night festivities!

Five Chicago actor-musicians make their Theatre at the Center debut in the musical Pump Boys and Dinettes.  Christine Mild as Rhetta Cupp, Shaun Whitley as Jim, Matt Holzfeind as Jackson, Matt Edmonds as L.M. and Cody Siragusa as Eddie are joined by Veronica Garza, who returns to the TATC stage to play Rhetta's sister Prudie Cupp.   The director is Brian Russell and William Underwood is Music Director.

As a part of Alley All New, the Alley Theatre announces two workshop presentations of the new musical in progress Lover, Beloved: An Evening with Carson McCullers tonight, August 23 (7:30 p.m.), and August 26 (8:00 p.m.) in the Texas Room.

Diner en Blanc Philadelphia returns this summer to celebrate its fifth anniversary with an unforgettable evening filled with elegance, food, art and music. The secret picnic in white will take over an undisclosed public space whose location is revealed only minutes prior to arrival. The date, number of registrations and registration lottery details will be announced next week at the official Diner en Blanc preview party on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Reading Terminal Market. Reading Terminal Market joins the catering lineup for the main event, along with 33rd Street Hospitality Catering (new for 2016) and Luke Palladino Catering. Raven Theatre Company, who has long championed new works through its [Working Title] new play development series of staged readings and its full productions of world premiere plays, will introduce a full weekend of three new play readings this summer. From Friday, July 8 through Sunday, July 10, the company will present a formal reading of a different play each night. The festival will open the evening of Friday, July 8 with a reading of Girl Found, a psychological mystery by Barbara Lhota, an award-winning playwright and network playwright at Chicago Dramatists. The Saturday evening entry will be Sycamore, a drama of contemporary family life by the Brooklyn, New York based Sarah Sander, that will be fully produced at Raven in March and April 2017 as part of its 2016-17 subscription season. Closing out the weekend will be the political drama Armature by Andrew Kramer, an Indianapolis-based writer who has been a resident playwright with StageLeft's LeapFest.
