The summer continues at wonderfully air conditioned Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing chamber music festival, with the return of country music favorite, Gunsmokeon tonight, July 20th (6:30PM) and Arianna String Quartet on Sunday, July 21st (3PM) with guest artist Pamela Mia Paul, piano. For 84 seasons, Music Mountain is the rare summer gem where music lovers can enjoy a variety of genres from weekend to weekend. Chamber music, jazz, and country concerts at Gordon Hall are scheduled through September 8th.

Hidden secrets are unearthed and family tensions fly high in Pulitzer Prize nominee Jon Robin Baitz's contemporary family drama Other Desert Cities, hailed by the New York Times as 'the best new play on Broadway' in 2011. Richmond Theatre Critics Circle award winner and Company of Fools' founder RusTy Wilson returns to direct the Idaho premiere of the show with a standout cast that features Keith Moore, Denise Simone and Patsy Wygle and guest actors Hanna Cheek and Adrian Rieder. Other Desert Cities runs tonight, July 2-27, 2013 at the Liberty Theatre.

Sundance Institute and Skywalker Sound today announced that the Sundance Institute Music and Sound Design Labs at Skywalker Sound will take place at Skywalker Ranch in 2013 and 2014 and also announced the artists that will participate in the 2013 Labs. This is the first time the two organizations will collaborate to support independent filmmakers and film composers and marks a significant expansion of the Institute's existing Composers Labs to include sound design.

Puppets and live performers enact an enigmatic tale of early World War II in 'King Executioner,' the newest creation of Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre written and directed by Vit Horejš. The play is loosely based on 'When you are a King, You will be an Executioner' ('A Jak Krolem a Jak Katem Bedzies,' 1968) by the Polish magical realist novelist Tadeusz Nowak (1930-1991). In a match that appears to have been a long time coming, Vans, the original skate shoe company, and iconic rock band Metallica proudly announce a creative partnership delivering shoe projects that will surely satisfy action sports and music fans alike. The collaboration will continue late this winter with two product drops: a four-piece 'Passion Project' collection designed by each member of Metallica coming in February and a two-shoe salute to the band's debut album, Kill 'Em All, delivering in March.
