The Private Theatre's Summer Scene Intensive consists of 6 rigorous weeks of class. It is designed to work through three genres of scene study: Classical (Shakespeare, 15th Century drama, etc.), 19th & 20th Century (Chekhov, Ibsen, Shaw, etc.), and Contemporary scenes. Everyone will work during every class and it is expected that everyone rehearse outside of class. The final class will be open to the public.

America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, Music Mountain will celebrate its 82nd anniversary season starting June 19th. The season will feature sixteen Chamber music concerts, a series of Jazz and Country Music concerts, and a number of special events slated through September 4th. The musical will feature the Academy Award-winning music and lyrics of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, a book by award-winning Irish playwright & screenwriter, Enda Walsh (Penelope, Hunger, The New Electric Ballroom), direction by the acclaimed Scottish director of Black Watch, John Tiffany, design by five time Tony Award winner Bob Crowley (The Coast of Utopia, Mary Poppins). Steven Hoggett (American Idiot, Black Watch) will provide musical staging and Martin Lowe (Mamma Mia!) is the music director.

Count Dracula, the world's most famous vampire, returns to the New York stage in DRACULA by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, based on the eponymous novel by Bram Stoker, began previews December 14, prior to its official press opening January 5 at the Little Shubert Theatre (442 West 42nd Street). Paul Alexander directs the new production.
