Celebration Theatre at the Lex in association with Nicholas Caprio, Michael C. Kricfalusi, Todd Milliner and Jack Morrissey presents, under the artistic direction of Michael Matthews & Michael A. Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company will host a post-show discussion centered on the later work of Tennessee Williams following the March 5, 3pm performance of Tennessee Williams 1982.  Celebrated mezzo-soprano Julia Migenes (Diva on the Verge) returns to the Odyssey Theatre with her newest show, once again directed by Academy Award-nominated director Peter Medak. Julia Migenes Sings Kurt Weill opens at the Odyssey tonight, October 9.

The award-winning Vermont-based Bread & Puppet Theater takes its annual Labor Day weekend 'little big tour' down to the Boston area, this year bringing their new The Overtakelessness Circus to be presented outdoors on Sunday, September 6th, in Cambridge at Magazine Beach Park and on Monday, September 7th, in Lawrence at the 31st Annual Bread & Roses Heritage Festival.

It was revealed today that musician/singer/songwriter/actor Chan Marshall (also known as Cat Power)  will be the voice narrating the upcoming Janis Joplin documentary “Janis” from Academy Award-nominated director Amy Berg (“Deliver Us From Evil,” “West of Memphis”). The documentary will have its much anticipated World Premiere at the Venice Film Festival where it was just selected to screen out of competition.
