The Original Broadway Cast of CRIMES OF THE HEART will reunite next Tuesday, October 27th, for a reading of the play at the Fairfield Theatre Company in Fairfield, CT. FTC Board Member and Tony Nominee, Mia Dillon will join original cast members Mary Beth Hurt, Liz McKay, Sharon Ullrick, and Ray Baker for this one night presentation.

The 2009 Regional Theatre Tony Award winning-Signature Theatre presents the world premiere theater event First You Dream': The Music of Kander & Ebb, September 10 through 27, 2009. A tribute to Broadway's most celebrated songwriting partnership - from Cabaret to Chicago to Curtains - Signature pulls out the stops with Broadway's Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Norm Lewis, Julia Murney, Matthew Scott, and Eleasha Gamble and a 19-piece orchestra, plus staging and set design by Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer and choreography by Karma Camp.

The Showboat Majestic will continue the 87th summer season with Beth Henley's 1981 Pulitzer Prize winning play, Crimes of the Heart. Performances run August 5 - August 23, 2009.

Circle Theatre, a professional, contemporary regional theatre company in Sundance Square, will begin previews of ART on March 19, 2009. ART preview performances are on March 19, 20, and 21 (matinee), and the show officially opens Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Circle's production of ART will be accompanied by an art exhibit in the theatre's newly updated lobby gallery space, featuring works by artist Robert Beverly. Beverly works creatively with wood, glass, metal and concrete mediums.

Sundance Institute announced today the lineup of films selected to screen in the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions for the 25th Sundance Film Festival. In addition to the four Competition categories, the Festival presents films in five out-of-competition sections to be announced tomorrow. The 2009 Sundance Film Festival runs January 15-25 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Sundance, Utah.
