Lou Spisto, Executive Producer of the Tony Award-winning Old Globe, is pleased to announce the Theatre's complete 2009 Summer Season.

The Irish Repertory Theatre will open its 2008-2009 season with the world premiere of Tony Award winning playwright Frank McGuinness's adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's THE MASTER BUILDER. McGuinness' adaptation was commissioned by the Irish Rep and will be directed by Ciaran O'Reilly.

CAPATHIA JENKINS, who recently played The Washing Machine in the Tony-nominated Broadway musical CAROLINE, OR CHANGE and has also received raves for her roles in THE CIVIL WAR and THE LOOK OF LOVE, will join award-winning composer LOUIS ROSEN for a new musical evening called 'PHENOMENAL WOMAN,' celebrating the poetry of Maya Angelou.
