The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that beloved actor Dick Van Dyke will receive the Britannia Award for Excellence in Television at the 2017 AMD British Academy Britannia Awards Presented by American Airlines.  This year's event will take place on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Into The Film, an interactive entertainment company, brings its premiere production, "A Night at the Opera," to Los Angeles. Guests will enter the world of Paris, during the 1880s, and become a part of one the most renowned stories: The Phantom of the Opera. The immersive and interactive theatre experience will take place at the Historical Woman Club of Santa Monica (historicalwomanclubofsantamonica) during two weekends in August, from August 4th - 6th & 11th - 13th.

Sharon Playhouse has announced complete casting for its 2017 Season. The season kicks off with MINOR CHARACTER: SIX TRANSLATIONS OF UNCLE VANYA, created by New Saloon (Morgan Green, Madeline Wise, and Milo Cramer), followed by FAR AWAY by Caryl Churchill (Love and Information). The season will conclude with a new, intimate chamber production of Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN. In a shift that begins this season, Morgan Green (William Shakespeare's Mom) will direct all three productions, showcasing the talents and range of the rising director.
