Lifeline Theatre artistic director Dorothy Milne and former Live Bait Theater artistic director Sharon Evans announce a joint revival, the 14th Annual Fillet of Solo Festival, running July 29-August 21, 2010, at two Chicago venues.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the original children's book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin, Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents a remount of their smash hit musical adaptation of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type. The production is adapted by ensemble member James E. Grote, music and lyrics by George Howe, and directed by ensemble member Shole Milos; the same team that created Lifeline's popular adaptations of the beloved Cronin/Lewin books, Giggle, Giggle, Quack (2005); Duck for President (2008); and Dooby Dooby Moo (2009). Since premiering at Lifeline Theatre in 2003, Grote and Howe's adaptation of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type has been produced by sixteen theatre companies in ten different states and provinces across the United States and Canada, and Lifeline Theatre is thrilled to share this delightful musical with a new generation of KidSeries audience.

Lifeline Theatre concludes its 27th anniversary MainStage season with the world premiere adaptation of Neil Gaiman's bestselling 1996 urban fantasy novel Neverwhere, adapted by Lifeline ensemble member Robert Kauzlaric, directed by Lifeline ensemble member Paul S. Holmquist. When Richard Mayhew stops to care for an injured girl on the street, he is drawn into a nightmare shadow world beneath the city of London.

Tthe 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Former Drama Desk Award winner Patti LuPone will host the awards ceremony.

Nominations in 14 categories and 2 special awards were announced today by the Off-Broadway League for the 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards recognizing outstanding achievement Off-Broadway. This year's ceremony will benefit The Actors Fund.
