Broadway In Chicago, Stageworks Media and TROIKA Entertainment have announced that tickets for CHEERS LIVE ON STAGE will go on sale to the general public today, July 22.

THE COMEDY MUSICAL DAY" in Las Vegas. A proclamation ceremony will take place in Symphony Park at 6 p.m. that evening, which is open to the public, and will be followed by the opening night performance at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Hall. The proclamation ceremony will take place in front of an epic 18-wheel, 6-ton Big Idaho Potato Truck, which will remain on display in Symphony Park through Tuesday, July 12. The Off-Broadway premiere of Elda Cusick's new play, Austin, will begin a limited engagement on Saturday July 23rd at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues). Ed Setrakian directs a cast that stars Thomas G. Waites ('OZ'), James McCaffrey ('Rescue Me'), Rochelle Bostrom, AJ Cedeño, and Michaela Waites. Opening Night is set for August 4th. Austin will play a limited run through September 10th only.

In its tenth anniversary season, THE CROSSING -- the extraordinary chamber choir from Philadelphia, dedicated to new music and conducted by Donald Nally -- has commissioned seven of the world's foremost composers to compose fifteen-minute musical responses to Dietrich Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri (translated as 'The Limbs of our Jesus'), a monumental seven-part cantata cycle composed in 1680 and known as the first Lutheran oratorio.

The exuberant cast of BYE BYE BIRDIE will 'spread sunshine all over the place' in this summertime sensation directed by Jenn Thompson.
