St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes back Kneehigh and director Emma Rice for the New York premiere of The Wild Bride. In this adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale 'The Girl Without Hands,' narrated by Satan himself, a father accidentally sells his daughter to the Devil. When our heroine cleverly escapes, a lyrical love story laced with devilish humor unfolds. The production features a bluegrass score by longtime Kneehigh composer Stu Barker, performed by live musicians and the cast.

Producers NELLE NUGENT and KENNETH TEATON welcome STEPHEN BYRD and ALIA JONES as producing partners on the Broadway production of THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, starring Academy Award nominee and three-time Emmy Award winner CICELY TYSON, Academy Award winner CUBA GOODING, JR, (Jerry Maguire, Red Tails), Emmy Award nominee and recording star VANESSA WILLIAMS (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives), and Tony Award nominee CONDOLA RASHAD (Lifetime's Steel Magnolias, Broadway's Stick Fly). Directed by MICHAEL WILSON, this 14-week limited engagement will begin previews on Easter Sunday, March 31st at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St). Warner Bros. to Release Restored 3D Edition of THE WIZARD OF OZ

Warner Bros. announced today that the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz will be fully restored and converted into 3D, as a part of the studio's 90th Anniversary celebration next year. The film is currently being restored and will be released on Blu-ray 3D in either September or October of next year.

The 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival will this year bestow its Donostia Awards on actors John Travolta, Ewan McGregor and Tommy Lee Jones and the Special 60th Anniversary Donostia Award going to director Oliver Stone. In 1969, Jones made his Broadway debut in John Osborne's A Patriot for Me. His other Broadway appearances include Four on a Garden and Ulysses in Nighttown.

According to an Equity casting notice, Rob Ashord is set to helm the upcoming Broadway revival of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof in the Spring 2013. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Scarlett Johansson, who won a 2010 Tony Award for her Broadway debut in A View From The Bridge, is rumored to play Maggie in the production. Those in the running to play Brick are Star Trek's Chris Pine and Johansson's The Avenger's co-star Jeremy Renner. Casting options for the remainder of the cast remain unknown.
