Porchlight Music Theatre was joined by nearly 200 people to launch its 28th season, honor the 2022 ICON Award recipient, one of Broadway’s foremost singing and dancing leading ladies, Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie,  present The Luminary Award to Dan Ratner and The Genevieve and Daniel Ratner Foundation and raise funds for its artistic and educational programs. The Magic Theatre’s (Sean San José, Lead Director and Kevin Nelson, Managing Director) first Home Resident Company- Campo Santo is honored to announce a limited engagement of the Premiere Run of OTTO FRANK, a new performance piece created and performed by incomparable star of film, television, and stage Roger Guenveur Smith, with an original score and live sound by award winning musician Marc Anthony Thompson.  OTTO FRANK will perform from March 12-27, 2022 on Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm and 8pm, at Magic Theatre’s Fort Mason location (Fort Mason, 2 Marina Blvd., Building D, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94123).

Diana Wyenn's solo show BLOOD/SUGAR takes place at the intersection of public health and performance, focusing on her life as a diabetic. Performed live and broadcast from Wyenn's home, using multimedia effects, original movement, and Wyenn's physical surroundings to create a vivid account of the life-sustaining self-care that diabetes currently demands from one out of every 10 American adults. And since I am also a Type 1 diabetic, I knew I was the perfect person to speak with her about the creation of the show.

It is with great shock and sadness that Cleveland Play House shared the news of the passing of Managing Director Kevin Moore. On Saturday, October 24th, Kevin tragically died possibly due to a pulmonary embolism or heart attack. He was 59 years old.
