Rabbit Hole is a family drama that charts a grieving family through a empathic search for comfort in the darkest of places and a path that will lead them back into the light of day. Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. The entire family finds themselves lost as they attempt to recovery from the loss of their son. The Corbett's have become strangers in their own home; inhabiting isolated space.

Complete casting has been announced for Charles Busch's return to Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Executive Artistic Director) in his uproarious new comedy The Confession of Lily Dare, directed by Busch's longtime collaborator Carl Andress (The Tribute Artist, Judith of Bethulia, The Divine Sister).

BabsonARTS is pleased to announce a very special presentation - On The Wing:  A Celebration of Birds In Music and Spoken Word, an evening of poetry reading, music, and ornithology - everything you wanted to know about birds - on Tuesday, March 27 at the Carling-Sorenson Theater at Babson College, Forest Street, Wellesley.

The Art of the Score, exploring some of the most distinctive uses of music in film, will return for its fifth season with Amadeus: Live, the New York Premiere screening of Amadeus with the Mozart-centered score performed live to the complete film. Conducted by Richard Kaufman in his Philharmonic debut and featuring Musica Sacra, directed by Kent Tritle, Amadeus: Live will take place Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, April l4 at 7:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. On April 11 actor Alec Baldwin - Philharmonic Board Member and Artistic Advisor of The Art of the Score - and special guest F. Murray Abraham - who won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Salieri - will introduce the film.

Christine Goerke, “the reigning Amercian dramatic soprano of the day” (The New York Times), makes her first Met performances in the title role of Richard Strauss's tragedy Elektra at the Met. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Patrice Chéreau's acclaimed staging, with Elza van den Heever as Elektra's sister, Chrysothemis, and Michaela Schuster as her mother, Klytämnestra. Jay Hunter Morris sings the role of Aegisth, Klytämnestra's lover, and Mikhail Petrenko performs as Elektra's long-lost brother Orest. The production runs for six performances from March 1 through March 23, 2018.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) announces the full cast and creative team for William Shakespeare's tragicomedy The Winter's Tale, directed by OBIE Award-winner Arin Arbus. The production plays March 13-April 15, 2018, at Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Place), TFANA's home in the Brooklyn Cultural District.

Broadway Dance Lab (BDL), a non-profit choreography incubator supporting new works of dance-driven theatre, has announced that former New York City Ballet principal dancer, and Tony Award nominee, Robert Fairchild, will join Loni Landon and Ray Mercer as guest choreographers for the company's Spring 2018 Cycle. The Lab is set to begin on Feb. 26, and will culminate with a Gala performance on April 2 at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana celebrates its 35th anniversary season with a program of new works featuring the New York premiere of Mujeres Valientes by internationally renowned flamenco artist Belén Maya and dances by three up-and-coming choreographers from Spain: Emilio Ochando, José Maldonado, and Guadalupe Torres. Australia's Global Creatures will secure its place as a leading international theatre production company as it celebrates its biggest year ever in 2018.   This year in the UK, the company opens Strictly Ballroom on the West End in April and Walking with Dinosaurs will again roam the globe on a new world tour with August dates confirmed at London's O2 Arena.

Jonathan Berry returns this spring to Steep to direct the U.S. premiere of Simon Stephens' Birdland. Stephens, who won the Tony and Olivier Awards for his The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, is Steep's Associate Playwright, and Birdland will be the fifth of his plays to be produced by the Edgewater ensemble. Steep Ensemble Member and Jeff Award-winning director Jonathan Berry recently directed Steppenwolf Theatre's You Got Older and The Crucible. Over the years, he has consistently produced some of Steep's most notable shows, including last year's sweeping epic Earthquakes in London and Laura Wade's Posh, which won the Non-Equity Jeff Award for Best Ensemble, and was nominated for Best Director and Best Production.

Little League will receive its world premiere from February 15th - March 2nd, 2018 as part of the 11th annual FRIGID Festival at the historic Kraine Theater, presented by Horse Trade Theater Group.  Little League is written by Jack Spagnola, produced by Lizzy Ana Lincoln, directed by Noam Shapiro, and Executive Produced by Three Hares.

Following on from his retirement from classical ballet in 2016, and to celebrate 30 years as a professional dancer, internationally renowned Carlos Acosta will return to the London stage this autumn to perform a mixed bill at the Royal Albert Hall from 2nd to 5th October 2018.

Houston Grand Opera (HGO) announced today the winners of the 30th annual Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers that took place at Stude Concert Hall at Rice University. For the second time, the Concert of Arias was streamed live on Facebook, as well as on YouTube for the first time. The livestream was hosted by award-winning soprano and HGO Studio alumna Tamara Wilson. The winners were announced during the second portion of the program.

Sarasota Opera will celebrate its 60th anniversary season in 2018/2019 as it announced today at a press conference held on the main stage of the Sarasota Opera House in Sarasota, FL. The event was overseen by Maestro Victor DeRenzi, artistic director and principal conductor, and Richard Russell, Executive Director. Performances were offered by soprano Kara Shay Thomson who sang "In questa reggia" from Puccini's Turandot and bass Young Bok Kim who sang "La calunnia" from Rossini's The Barber of Seville. In addition, the audience participated in a community sing of the famous chorus "Va, pensiero" from Verdi's Nabucco.
