Opening the 2019 winter series is Carmelina, with music by Burton Lane, lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, additional lyrics by Barry Harman, and book by Joseph Stein and Alan Jay Lerner. Performances began Saturday afternoon, January 26, 2019 and continue for 11 performances only through February 3, 2019. The show officially opened last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Bay Area audiences will have the opportunity to experience a lost musical theatre treasure when 42nd Street Moon presents the first ever post-Broadway production of a musical collaboration by the composers of My Fair Lady and Brigadoon, Carmelina. The show has a beautiful score by Alan Jay Lerner and Burton Lane and a saucy book by Lerner and Joseph Stein, whose Fiddler on the Roof remains one of the world's most popular musicals, but Carmelina nevertheless vanished from sight. Carmelina plays October 31 - November 18, 2012 (press openings November 2 and 3) at the Eureka Theatre in San Francisco. Get a first look at the cast in the photos below!

Sarah Uriarte Berry, Tony winner Chuck Cooper, award-winning vocalist Scott Coulter, and Broadway favorites Jason Graae and Max von Essen joined Emily Skinner, Jeff McCarthy, Terri Klausner, Noah Racey, Lorin Latarro and Melinda Sullivan at The Town Hall to present the final production of its 2007-2008 Broadway by the Year series, Broadway By The Year 1979 on Monday, June 16th. Broadway By The Year is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, now in it's 8th season.
