Last night Leonard Bernstein's Candide, directed by legend Broadway visionary Harold Prince was presented by the New York City Opera and BroadwayWorld was at the opening night festivities.

Hughley Show,' January 5 - 8; Matt Bellassai, host of the web series 'To Be Honest,' January 11 and 12; Louie Anderson, Emmy Award winner from FX's Baskets, January 13 - 15; Heather McDonald, from her stand-up special 'I Don't Mean to Brag,' January 19 - 22; and Donnell Rawlings, from MTV2's Guy Code and the reality show Project Dad, January 26 - 29.

New American Folk Theatre is pleased to present the Midwest premiere of DEEP IN THE HEART OF TUNA, the newest installment of the comedic 'Tuna' series, which has entertained audiences across the U.S for over 25 years (Greater Tuna, 'A Tuna Christmas, 'Red, White and Tuna' and Tuna Does Vegas). Written by Ed Howard, Joe Sears and Jaston Williams and directed by Derek Van Barham, DEEP IN THE HEART OF TUNA will play February 4 - March 5, 2017 at The Buena at Pride Arts Center, 4147 N. The production, choreographed by Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated choreographer Patricia Birch, brings together a versatile cast of Broadway veterans and rising opera stars to tell the story of Candide's adventures and tribulations in the "best of all possible worlds."

Christmas celebrations at HOME begin with a spectacular party with Back to the Future screening, Enchantment Under The Sea-inspired 50s to 80s disco and DJs, plus a very special visit from the DeLorean Time Machine, in partnership with First Street Manchester.
