The Knitting Factory was founded in 1987 and over the years has grown into Knitting Factory Entertainment, which encompasses four clubs - in Brooklyn, Hollywood, Boise, and Spokane - several record labels and other ventures. On May 2nd, it will present The Great Muppet Caper Sing-A-Long.

Nederlander Detroit has announced that the Southeastern Michigan Lincoln Mercury Dealers will sponsor the 2010-2011 Broadway in Detroit season. All engagements will be at the Fisher Theatre, except for Mary Poppins which will play at the Detroit Opera House.

Producers Phil Monat, T. Richard Fitzgerald and Randall L. Wreghitt announced today that TALLEY'S FOLLY, the classic Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Lanford Wilson (Burn This, Fifth of July, Balm in Gilead) will have its first-ever Broadway revival as part of the 2010-2011 Season. The production will begin previews in spring 2011, with exact dates and a theater to be announced.
