The Lyric Stage Company of Boston's 2015-16 Season continues April 8 with MR. BURNS, a post-electric play by Anne Washburn, with a score by Michael Friedman and lyrics by Anne Washburn. Directed by A. Nora Long, the production also features music director Allyssa Jones and choreographer Yo-El Cassell. MR. BURNS runs through May 7, 2016, with the official opening slated for April 10.

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TOAST, written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode. Produced by Snapdragon Productions, in association with Jagged Fence Theatre for the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival, TOAST begins performances on Wednesday, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 22. Press opening is Wednesday, April 27 at 7 PM.

?Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the line-up for SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays. Now in its 21st season, SUMMERWORKS will run May 27 through July 9 at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd Street) in Manhattan, and will feature productions of three new plays: EVERY ANGEL IS BRUTAL by Julia Jarcho and directed by Knud Adams; THE TOMB OF KING TOT by Eric Dufault and directed by Portia Krieger; and TUMACHO by Ethan Lipton and directed by Leigh Silverman. 911 and The Big Reunion star Lee Brennan will make his musical theatre debut when he joins the cast of Footloose: The Musical, playing the role of Willard from Tuesday 19 April to Saturday 18 June 2016. Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO) and the CSO Youth Orchestras (CSOYO) present a unique event, featuring not only two of the youth orchestras in concert (Symphony and Philharmonic), but also the CSO Orchestra and the CSOYO Symphony combined. Giving students the chance to play alongside professional musicians provides invaluable musical education opportunities for the up-and-coming musicians. This event will provide CSOYO students a chance to learn more about their craft by working alongside the CSO musicians on classical masterworks by popular composers such as Rossini and Liszt. Featured in the program are the top two winners of the 2015 CSOYO Concerto Competition, Hannah Eitzen and Sasha Hitachi-Kizziah. Josh Holritz, CSO Associate Concertmaster and CSOYO alumnus, will also be featured.
