Robert Lindsay and Joanna Lumley will lead the cast in Trevor Nunn's production of James Goldman's The Lion in Winter. The Lion in Winter will run from 4 November - 28 January, with press night on 15 November 2011. The Lion in Winter is produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company. Further casting will be announced shortly.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues the summer portion of its 49th season with Dario Fo's wincingly funny Accidental Death of an Anarchist. Performances begin August 3rd and continue through August 28th at The Theatre's Main Stage - the intimate F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre. Max Stafford-Clark's new production of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls is to transfer to the Trafalgar Studios following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester. Top Girls, produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions, will run at the Trafalgar Studios from 5 August - 15 October 2011 with press night on 16 August 2011. Stafford-Clark's Out of Joint/ Chichester Festival Theatre co-production reunites him with producer Sonia Friedman, with whom he co-founded Out of Joint Theatre Company in 1993.

Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross will star on Broadway this autumn in Noël Coward's Private Lives directed by Richard Eyre at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Previews will begin on Sunday November 6; opening night is Thursday November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5 2012.

Producers Jeffrey Finn and Jill Furman announced today that two-time Tony Award nominee, Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Alan Rickman (Private Lives, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the Harry Potter franchise) will make his eagerly-anticipated return to Broadway starring in the World Premiere of SEMINAR, a new play by Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, The Understudy, Omnium Gatherum, The Family of Mann, Spike Heels, NBC's upcoming 'Smash').
