Utah Film Center announced today the films selected for the 15th annual Damn These Heels Film Festival and new elements to the festival for film lovers, filmmakers and all storytellers. Damn These Heels will run July 20 - 22, 2018 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and is a festival for all that explores LGBTQ issues, ideas, and art through independent, documentary, and foreign films from around the world. Passes and tickets are now on sale on the Utah Film Center's website. Additional titles will be announced on the website leading up to the Festival.

HOME in Manchester presents the world premiere production of The Fishermen, by Nottingham-based theatre company New Perspectives between Thursday 19 - Saturday 28 July 2018. The production then travels to the Edinburgh Festival, performing at the Assembly George Square Studios between Thursday 2 - Monday 27 August (not Mondays 13 & 20), and then touring to nine venues in England including the Arcola in London, Monday 17 - Saturday 22 September.

American Blues Theater announces encore performance run of BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story, written by Alan Janes, directed by Lili-Anne Brown, with musical direction by Ensemble Member Michael Mahler. BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story will reopen June 29 - September 15, 2018 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are on sale now.

After 'sealing the deal' with critics and audiences alike during its smash hit West End run, Sam Yates' unmissable production of one of David Mamet's greatest and most lauded plays, Glengarry Glen Ross will embark on a nationwide tour from 14 February 2019 opening at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking. The hard-nosed sales team in this darkly funny classic will then visit Birmingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Richmond, Brighton and Cardiff with further tour dates to be announced shortly.

The Globe is happy to announce that the Globe for All Tour will continue to bring shows to the community in 2018, with support provided by Theatre Forward's Advancing Strong Theatre grant program. Following the Globe engagement of Karen Zacarias's hilarious comedy directed by Edward Torres, Native Gardens will travel June 28 through July 1 to four of our community partner venues for free performances in South Bay, Lemon Grove, Otay Mesa, and Oceanside. Northern Sky Theater will host the 71st Alice in Dairyland, Kaitlyn Riley, at the world premiere of Dairy Heirs on Tuesday, June 19th in Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek. Ms. Riley will greet patrons and will give a short update about Wisconsin's dairy industry from the stage prior to the performance.    Dairy Heirs is billed as a modern-day 'moosical' that celebrates family farming and the delights of living in a small town.  

This spring, Theatrical Outfit proudly presents 110 in the Shade, the sizzling Broadway musical adaptation of the beloved classic play The Rainmaker by N. On Sunday night, the deafening cheers said it all. As Northwest School of the Arts junior Rixey Terry walked across the stage to accept his award for Best Supporting Actor in the musical "Big Fish," all he could focus on was the electric blue seats sparkling under the house lights in the Blumenthal Theatre.
