On Tuesday night, RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA opened a week-long run at Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The Road Theatre Company and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, are thrilled to announce the first show of its 2015-2016 - 25th Anniversary Season, the World Premiere of HOMEFREE, written by Lisa Loomer and directed by Ovation Award-winner Michael Matthews. HOMEFREE will open today, September 18 at 8pm and run through Sunday, November 8th at the Road Theatre Company's second home, the Road on Magnolia, located in The NoHo Senior Arts Colony, 10747 Magnolia Blvd. in North Hollywood.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Serino/Coyne, the nation's leading live-entertainment marketing agency, today announced that Angelo Desimini, currently chief operating officer, will assume the role of CEO, effective immediately. Nancy Coyne, founder and current CEO, will become chairman. Greg Corradetti continues as president of the firm. Colorado Ballet principal dancers Maria Mosina and Sharon Wehner recently started their 20thseasons with Colorado Ballet.  Both dancers joined the Company in 1995.

Chester Theatre Company will bring its 26th season to a close with the New England Premiere of BLINK by British playwright Phil Porter. Not only will this production be a regional premiere, but it features the play's first American cast - the Off Broadway production featured the original British cast. Performances will run from August 13th to 23rd.

July might have just begun, but let me tell you things are in full swing here in Sonoma, CA.  Just recently at Transcendence Theatre Company we started a new show, closed the first show with a bang, actively participated in volunteering opportunities, and joined in our local 4th of July celebrations.  But I'll let some of our Transcendence resident artists go into more detail about their personal favorite activities of these past well-lived days.
