Following an immensely acclaimed world premiere at the Galway Arts Festival this past summer, St. Ann's Warehouse and Imagine Ireland will present the American Premiere of Misterman, November 30-December 21 at St. Ann's Warehouse. Murphy makes his American stage debut with a tour-de-force solo performance in this Landmark Productions / Galway Arts Festival co-production, his first collaboration with playwright/director Enda Walsh since Disco Pigs, which launched both men's careers 15 years ago.

They were all there... Academy Award winning actress and Broadway star Celeste Holm brought the crowd to their feet and left them in tears when she sang one of her early Broadway hits. Grammy Award winning Violinist virtuoso Joshua Bell wowed the crowd with transcended music. The star power lit up the room on Monday night at the annual Broadway Salutes, Arts Horizons Gala at the Edison Ballroom. John Devol and Director Elizabeth Halverstam celebrated 33 years of helping over eight million public school children discover the arts.

The ever-popular Broadway musical Annie will light up Sydney's Lyric Theatre from 29 December in an exciting new production produced John Frost. Returning to the role of New York ‘zillionaire' Daddy Warbucks will be one of Australia's greatest theatrical talents, Anthony Warlow, fresh from his success in the title role of the World Premiere of Doctor Zhivago. Show business legend Nancye Hayes will play the tyrannical Miss Hannigan who runs the orphanage where Annie begins her journey. This is the third Australian production of Annie that Nancye has been involved with, having played Lily St Regis in the original production and been Assistant Choreographer for the second.

Members of this year's benefit committee are Ben Affleck, Jim Carrey, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Ashley Judd, Helen Mirren, Mike Nichols, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, Tim Robbins, Steven Spielberg, Hilary Swank, Denzel Washington and Alfre Woodard. AFI will present the 39th AFI Life Achievement Award - America's highest honor for a career in film - to Freeman on June 9th. Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center announces the ninth season of its international dance series. Marin Ireland, Eric Bogosian, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and John Guare join the previously announced Blythe Danner, Ted Danson, Parker Posey, Peter Dinklage, Lili Taylor, Michael Stuhlbarg at the Soho Rep SPRING GALA 2011 honoring Marian Seldes. Co-hosted by Mr. Bogosian and Tim Blake Nelson the evening will also feature musical performances by Jomama Jones & The Lisps. The stage performance will feature scenes and songs from past and upcoming Soho Rep shows. Special musical guest will be Jomama Jones - who had a critically acclaimed run at Soho Rep earlier this season - in addition to The Lisps, performing a song from their new musical FUTURITY.
