Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced a new Broadway production of Arthur Miller's The Price, directed by Steppenwolf co?founder Terry Kinney.

The League of Composers Set for NY Philharmonic Biennial

The League of Composers/ISCM - the nation's oldest organization devoted to contemporary music - joins the NY PHIL BIENNIAL to present the Orchestra of the League of Composers performing a New York Premiere by Huck Hodge (United States, b. 1977), a U.S. Premiere by Felipe Lara (Brazil, b. 1979), and works by Pulitzer Prize-winning composers Charles Wuorinen (United States, b. 1938) and Paul Moravec (United States, b. 1957). Taking place at Columbia University's Miller Theatre on Wednesday, June 1st at 7:30pm, the program will be conducted by Louis Karchin, Music Director of the Orchestra of the League of Composers. Charles Wuorinen will conduct his own work with pianist Anne-Marie McDermott as soloist.

Yangtze Rep to Stage K.K. Wong's MIDNIGHT KILL at TNC, 5/6-22

In 'Midnight Kill,' written and directed by K.K. Wong, a school campus in a Chinese rural village during the 1970's becomes a theater of twisted, oppressed but indelible human desires. Daily mundane activities become an absurd performance of ordinary people's basic emotions. The play is based around an actual murder story that occurred in a mountain hamlet in Anhui province (China), where the author lived for five years. Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America will present the work's world premiere May 6 to 22 at Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., NYC. It will be performed in Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles and will be completely accessible for English-speaking audiences.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN Coming to Adelaide

The splash-hit West End stage production SINGIN' IN THE RAIN will make its way to Adelaide in December for a season at the Festival Theatre. The Australian tour premieres in May at Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre, followed by seasons in Sydney, Brisbane before making its way to Adelaide and then Perth.

The European premiere of The New Group's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production, The Spoils, a razor-sharp new comedy written by and starring internationally acclaimed actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice), will transfer for a strictly limited season at London's Trafalgar Studios, from 27 May to 13 August, with press night on 2 June.

Shepperd, the West Coast premiere of THE BOY FROM OZ, music and lyrics by Peter Allen, book by Martin Sherman, original book by Nick Enright, choreography by Janet Roston, musical direction by Bryan Blaskie, produced by Andrew Carlberg and directed by Celebration Theatre co-artistic director Michael A. Shepperd. THE BOY FROM OZ will begin previews on Friday, April 22 at 8pm; will open on Friday, April 29 at 8pm and perform through Sunday, June 19 at the Celebration Theatre's new home, Celebration at the Lex Theatre, 6760 Lexington Ave. in Los Angeles.

42nd Street Moon concludes its 23rd season with Frank Loesser's glorious Napa Valley romance, the Tony Award-winning THE MOST HAPPY FELLA. This masterpiece with book, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business …, Where's Charley?) is an unconventional and sweepingly romantic love story set in the vineyards of Napa Valley. Considered one of Loesser's greatest works, the stunning score includes "The Most Happy Fella," "Standing on the Corner," "Joey, Joey, Joey," "Rosabella," "Big D," "My Heart Is So Full of You" and "Song of a Summer Night."
