The world premiere of the play was at the Galway International Arts Festival in 2016 in a production by the festival and Landmark Productions, directed by the playwright. Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) is pleased to announce casting for British director Simon Godwin's new staging of Measure for Measure, William Shakespeare's dark comedy about justice, faith, power, sex, and family. A newly devised work, Synetic Theater's The Mark of Cain is a neo-surrealist distillation of human history, seen through the eyes of Cain, the world's first criminal. The Mark of Cain will be playing in Arlington from July 19 through August 13.
