Tony Award-winner Faith Prince will return to Broadway as evil orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). She will begin performances tonight, July 19. Emmy Award-winning 'Glee' star Jane Lynch will play her final performance as Miss Hannigan on Sunday, July 14.

'I never thought I'd have a kid on Broadway' says Rachel Rosenfeld, mother of Emily, who plays Molly the orphan in PBS' ANNIE: IT'S THE HARD-KNOCK LIFE, FROM SCRIPT TO STAGE, which airs to the public in select parts of the country tomorrow night. The program opens with Emily riding in her car and a visit to her home where she is practicing for the enviable role. She was one of 5,000 children who auditioned for the Broadway revival.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, talks between Sony Studios and Sandra Bullock, the actress who was recently offered the role of orphanage meanie 'Miss Hannigan' in the upcoming musical adaptation of ANNIE, have ended.

Shout! Broadway released the new 2012 Cast Recording for ANNIE CD on Tuesday, June 18. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sandra Bullock is in talks to join Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhane Wallis in producers Will Smith and Jay-Z's film adaptation of Annie for Sony. Bullock would play 'MIss Hannigan' in the film.
