Theatre Communications Group has announced that its 2019 Gala will be directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer and feature performances from Oklahoma!'s Ali Stroker, Hadestown's Patrick Page and Eva Noblezada, and Angels in America's Beth Malone.

Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE Originals program is excited to announce a workshop production of a brand-new musical written by five students last spring. The show, titled This Is What They Tell Me, represents the first public presentation of a new musical written by KIDSTAGE students in the Everett community - an exciting new step for an already comprehensive theatre arts education program.

The Castillo Theatre (Dan Friedman, artistic director; John Rankin, associate managing director) is proud to announce that it will produce a revival of the 1991 play by Fred Newman, Billie, Malcolm & Yusuf, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Yusuf Hawkins' murder in 1989.  Billie, Malcolm & Yusuf will be directed by award-winning director, Gabrielle Kurlander.  The production includes blues and rap music. The Castillo Theatre is located at 543 West 42nd Street in Manhattan. Performances are between February 15 and March 17, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

The National Theatre has announced its upcoming lineup for the first half of 2019.

Two-time Tony-winning actress, singer and dancer Sutton Foster returns to Cafe Carlyle, June 11-22. At Cafe Carlyle, she'll perform Broadway favorites and original recordings, focusing on selections from her new album, Take Me to the World, and stories of how being a mother of a two-year-old has informed her work and changed her life.

The veteran actress voiced the role in Disney Channel's 'Kim Possible' animated series (2002-07). In 2015, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre added a new holiday production to its Children's Theatre collection with the world premiere of its original musical comedy The Great Elf Adventure. Over the years, many adaptations of holiday stories have appeared on the WOB stage including Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree, Frosty the Snowman, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and Clara and the Nutcracker Prince. The Great Elf Adventure is based on one of the most popular characters to appear at the theatre, Jingles the Elf.

Atlanta's Pinch 'N' Ouch Theatre is having one of its busiest seasons. Most recently presenting Edward Albee's harrowing masterpiece WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, only weeks prior to Sam Shepard's Obie Award winning play FOOL FOR LOVE, the electrifying contemporary theatre company has just announced their latest production of Kenneth Lonergan's THIS IS OUR YOUTH, a compassionate living snapshot of the moment between adolescence and adulthood. YOUTH will be directed by the company's Producing Artistic Director Grant McGowen, and will feature Derek Evans, Thien Vuong, and Annie Jacob. It will perform in late November thru December at Pinch 'N' Ouch Theatre, now located in Kirkwood of Atlanta, GA.

The play will be shown from March 21, 2019 until March 24, 2019.

This Halloween, the Brick Theater presents The Testament of a Josh: A Flesh and Blood Musical, an original rock musical by humor writer Brian Boone (books and lyrics) and composer Julian Mesri, and featuring Maybe Burke (fresh off the acclaimed Red Emma and the Mad Monk), John Amir (Theater for a New Audience's Skin of Our Teeth) and Matt Butterfield (600 Highwaymen).
