Loosely based on Emile Zola's Therese Raquin, Playwright/Director Lane's modern tale focuses on Teresa Rae King, a young woman trapped in a loveless marriage; disappointed by her husband and terrorized by her gorgon mother-in-law, Teresa Rae finally discovers true passion in the arms of Levon, an ex-con. Their plot to free Teresa Rae produces harrowing results pushing them to madness. Sarah Hankins (The Queen's Company) leads the cast of seven -- Melat Ayalew, Patrick M. Ball (Sex with Strangers), Madeline Fox, Beth Glover (Cinderella, Take Me Along), Lorin Kaplan and Stanton Nash (Wicked).

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce full casting for Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Dan Cody's Yacht, a new play written by Anthony Giardina and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes. Rehearsals for the production begin tomorrow, Tuesday, April 17.

Today (16 April 2018), rehearsals begin for the West End production of Nina Raine's Consent which will begin previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 18 May with its opening night on 29 May 2018. Directed by Roger Michell and originally co-produced and commissioned by Out of Joint, this strictly limited 12-week run is booking through to 11 August 2018 following the 2017 critically acclaimed sell-out run at the National Theatre. A series of accompanying pre-show talks and discussions exploring ideas of justice, consent, marriage and modern parenthood will be announced at a later date.

Happy opening! THIS FLAT EARTH, directed by Tony Award winner Rebecca Taichman, held its Opening Night at Playwrights Horizons last night! The performance marked the play's World Premiere. Austin-based director Tyson Culver and fellow Austinite, author Robert Bryce, announce a documentary project entitled, 'Juice: How Electricity Explains The World.' The film, based on Bryce's forthcoming book of the same name, has taken them to several continents to interview people about electricity, the world's most-important and fastest-growing form of energy. They talked to a Nobel-prize winning economist, a California gubernatorial candidate, cryptocurrency miners, a video-game pioneer and dozens of others. They have been to India, Lebanon, Iceland and several U.S. states. Puerto Rico and South Korea are next. 'Juice' is in the final stages of production and will be released in tandem with 'Juice' (the book) in early 2019. Check out the sizzle reel here. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix will be the new home to the stop motion animated film WENDELL AND WILD.
