Kirsty Patrick Ward directs Bruce Alexander (Professor Charlie Sharp), James Baxter (Paul Stokes), Sophie Bleasdale (Violet Hunter), Joe Coen (Gabriel Lamb), Ashley Cook (Doctor James Bell), Caroline Harker (Aunt George), Kemi-Bo Jacobs (Anna Lamb), Alice Kerrigan (Emily), Jessica Regan (Matilda 'Matty' Blackwell) and Fiona Skinner (Polly Stokes). The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 5 October, with previews from 3 October, and runs until 27 October.

CHVRCHES debut a brand new song “Out Of My Head” featuring acclaimed Japanese electro pop group Wednesday Campanella, alongside its accompanying animé video. Wednesday Campanella are a chart topping trio made up of Kom_I, Kenmochi Hidefumi and Dir.F, who made their debut in 2012 and last year released Superman, their first album for Warner Music Japan; they released their acclaimed Galapagos EP in June. Lookingglass Theatre Company announces an extension of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. Due to high ticket demand, additional dates, August 30 - September 9, 2018, have been added. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas plays at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. This marks the second and final extension of the production.
