Know Theatre has announced its 14th season producing contemporary theatre in Over-the-Rhine. The season will consist of five mainstage productions, The 9th Annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival, The Know Theatre CityBeat NYE Speakeasy Party, a national tour of Calculus: The Musical!, a few special events, and some new and returning Jackson Street Market programs.

Every Tony Needs a Tina! BestofOffBroadway.com has announced the winners of the 2011 Tina Awards, honoring the best Off-Broadway productions and performances of the 2010-2011 season. Nominees were announced on May 12 by Emmy and Drama Critics Circle Award Winner Leslie Jordan on BestofOffBroadway.com. Thousands of Off-Broadway fans cast their votes, which were tallied on June 9th.

The SF Playhouse has set an enviable standard for theatre production and in the process has attracted the Bay Area's best talent to its stage; this season will continue that trend.
