The Citizens Theatre and the National Theatre of Scotland are presenting This Restless House a highly-ambitious trilogy of new plays by Zinnie Harris based on Aeschylus' The Oresteia at the Citizens Theatre from 15 April 2016. Citizens Theatre Artistic Director Dominic Hill directs this exhilarating theatrical event and contemporary take on an epic Greek tragedy which will be presented in two instalments on alternate evenings and in full on Saturdays until 14 May 2016.

Steep Theatre Company opened its first show, Keith Reddin's Life During Wartime, in early March 2001. On March 7, 2016, the ensemble will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a one-night-only staged reading of Simon Stephens' HARPER REGAN, held in Steppenwolf Theatre's upstairs performance space. Steep's 2010 production of HARPER REGAN was a landmark production for the ensemble and an iconic example of Steep's daring, powerful, and ensemble-driven brand of theatre.

They will present the first professional production of Simon Stephen's HERONS since the play premiered at the Royal Court in 2001, directed by the Lyric's Artistic Director Sean Holmes. he Public Theaterannounced complete casting today for the new musical SOUTHERN COMFORT that tells the true story of a group of transgender friends living life on their own terms in the back hills of rural Georgia. Directed by Thomas Caruso and based on the film by Kate Davis, SOUTHERN COMFORT features book and lyrics by Dan Collins and music by Julianne Wick Davis, and was conceived for the stage by Robert DuSold and Thomas Caruso. SOUTHERN COMFORT begins previews on Tuesday, February 23 and will run through Sunday, March 27 in The Public's Anspacher Theater, with an official press opening on Monday, March 7.
