Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre (CAMT) has created 'The New World Symphony: Dvorak in America,' a play chronicling the American years (1892-1895) of Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, during which he produced a flurry of 'American' works. This puppet theater work is rich in classical and original music (played live!) and dramatizes one of the most significant cultural exchanges in American history. GOH Productions and Dvorak-American Heritage Association (DAHA) will present the piece as a work in progress January 30 and 31, 2016 at Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd Street (Upper East Side). This production is preparatory to the play's upcoming world premiere run, which will be presented by La Mama Experimental Theatre, 66 East 4th Street (East Village), six weeks later: from March 10 to 27, 2016 (see more info below). The play is conceived and directed by Vit Horejs. Composer and Musical Director is saxophonist James Brandon Lewis.

Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC), the region's principal community chorus, presents a winter concert, A Very British Christmas, tonight, December 5 at 7:30 pm, and tomorrow, December 6 at 4 pm at The Church of the Pilgrimage (COTP), 8 Town Square in Plymouth.  The chorus is conducted by Music Director William B. Richter and accompanied by Asst. Director Elizabeth Chapman Reilly on the church's 55 rank Roche pipe organ.

December 1, 2015 – Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual holiday family tradition, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 20 at 3:00pm at the Tivoli Theatre. The CSO's annual holiday program returns to its roots with traditional holiday fare, featuring special guest vocalist and Chattanooga native Scott Coulter, star of the Emmy-nominated PBS Special A Christmas Carol: The Concert. Coulter will perform songs such as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “O Holy Night”, and pieces from A Christmas Carol.
