The New Group proudly announces a one-week extension for its current production, Kenneth Lonergan's The Starry Messenger. This world premiere production will now play its final performance on Saturday, December 19 (previous final performance date: December 12)., Previews began Monday, October 26 at The New Group @ Theatre Row, and the show enjoyed its Official Press Opening on Monday, November 23.

The producers of 'A Christmas Carol' have announced that the engagement at the Civic Opera House has been cancelled. The full ticket price and convenience charge (if applicable), will be automatically refunded to credit cards. For tickets purchased in cash, refunds are available directly through the box office.

The show broke countless box office records and won every theatre award imaginable, including 12 Tonys in 2001, more than any production in history. This production plays a limited Off-Broadway engagement from October 26 - December 12 at The New Group @ Theatre Row, with Official Opening Night now set for Monday, November 23 at 8:00 PM. This delayed opening is due to a last minute cast change (Merwin Goldsmith replaced Jonathan Hadary) as previously reported.

The Caped Crusader faces a new villain in the upcoming Batman: The Brave & The Bold episode, 'Mayhem of the Music Meister!' The episode, from Warner Bros Animation, features the voice of Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) as the Music Meister, a menacing villain who is able to exert powerful mind-control through song. Producers and cast members received a standing ovation following a sneak-preview at Comic-Con this past July and, after much anticipation, the episode will finally air Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

This afternoon Paper Mill Playhouse revealed that Tony Award winning actress Harriet Harris will join the cast as Madame Dilly. Ms. Harris is the recipient of the 2002 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Mrs. Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
